"Dear Howard..." is a short film written and directed by L. Alan Brooks. It was made for the inaugural Howard Stern Film Festival, however, it was not chosen as one of the finalists. In the film, Ed is a superfan of Howard Stern, and he wants desperately to meet his idol. So he devises a plan to write the perfect letter in hopes that Stern will invite him to the show, fulfilling Ed's lifelong dream of meeting the "King of All Media."
